Enjoying Holiday Music

Every year, I look forward to the Christmas holiday season. I love decorating a large, beautiful tree, baking delicious, seasonal desserts, going to holiday parties, and spending time with my parents at their farm. Because I’m a singer and a musician, I also like to listen to Christmas music. Sometimes, I listen to holiday tunes for several hours at the time. Whether I’m cleaning my home, driving down the road, or cooking dinner, my mood instantly improves after listening to some of my favorite holiday songs. On this blog, I hope you will gain an appreciation for holiday music. Enjoy!

Play Hip Hop Gospel Music During Group Activities For Children

Hip-hop gospel music teaches children about the Bible and God. This type of music can be enjoyed during social activities that are geared toward young children and teens. Consider the following activities as a means of providing a youth group with an opportunity to interact with their peers.

Introduce Music At A Skating Party

A roller skating party will provide fun, fellowship, and refreshments for your group members. Purchase a collection of hip-hop gospel music that features some up-and-coming musical artists. If you will be reserving a skating venue for your party, you can likely request that the musical selections that you have purchased are played throughout the skating event. Before the skating party is to take place, listen to the tracks on each musical product that you purchased.

Hip-hop gospel music can be enjoyed while the children are skating around the floor or while they are playing some targeted skating games. Designate each song track for a specific purpose. Some of the music may be better suited for solo skating sessions and other songs may be suited for musical chairs, limbo, and other activities that the children can participate in while skating.

Play Music At A Camp Or Retreat

A youth group camp session or church retreat can be used to teach the word of God, plus let the participants pursue their interests and talents. Hip-hop gospel music can be played during intermissions or during some group activities that the children will be participating in. Maybe, you would like to set up a dance floor and allow the children to listen to the music and practice some of their favorite dance moves.

You could also incorporate the music during a talent show or a live performance. If a stage will be featured at the camp or retreat, individual children or groups of children can take turns performing the gospel songs. You can request that the children volunteer for this type of activity.

List the song names on slips of paper and allow each performer to select one of the papers. Afterward, encourage them to get up on the stage and act out a talent or dance while the assigned song is playing. At the end of each camp day or retreat session, play a couple of gospel songs that you think will provide the children with inspiration and a positive message.

Look for hip-hop gospel music for children for these reasons.
