Every year, I look forward to the Christmas holiday season. I love decorating a large, beautiful tree, baking delicious, seasonal desserts, going to holiday parties, and spending time with my parents at their farm. Because I’m a singer and a musician, I also like to listen to Christmas music. Sometimes, I listen to holiday tunes for several hours at the time. Whether I’m cleaning my home, driving down the road, or cooking dinner, my mood instantly improves after listening to some of my favorite holiday songs. On this blog, I hope you will gain an appreciation for holiday music. Enjoy!
Whether your workplace is a retail environment, a healthcare practice, a daycare, or a zoo, you can use music radio streaming to help you set the mood for others in your workplace. Here are some of the ways that a music radio channel could help you in this endeavor.
1. Help customers relax
Often, a retail or healthcare type workplace may be one where customers or patients could experience stress and anxiety. Since the workday goes more smoothly for everyone when these sensations are reduced, you may want to try a music radio streaming channel that can help to reduce tension and stress and help people relax and stay calm.
Some types of music have the ability to soothe the nervous system, making these types of music ideal for a situation where you want to set a more calming mood. To help create a relaxing atmosphere for those around you, consider a music radio streaming channel with moderately paced music (around 60 beats per minute) that has relaxing instruments such as flutes.
2. Keep children engaged
If you have kids or if you work with children for your vocation, you know that they can often be endless founts of energy. Keeping them engaged and busy so that energy is directed towards something educational or productive can be tricky.
A music radio streaming channel that has fun, engaging songs for children can provide an activity that's both uplifting and educational. This type of station can encourage little kids to sing along and act out the hand motions that go with each song.
3. Calm animals
If you work at a zoo, farm, pet store, pet salon, dog park, or another place with lots of animals, you may be interested to know that some music can help to calm animals down as well. Although they don't perceive music the same way humans do, they still hear it, and music can still have an effect on them.
For instance, they may experience a calming effect from the gentle sounds of classical music. So try playing a music streaming channel for the animals you work with and see if it helps them relax.
4. Help coworkers avoid boredom
Finally, even if you work in a cubicle at an office, a music radio streaming station can help to set a positive tone for the day. Of course, it has to be music that everyone likes, or someone may get irritated, so be sure you ask your coworkers first before turning on the music.
These are just a few ways you can use a music radio streaming service at work to help set the mood for others around you, whether they're kids, coworkers, or even pets or wild animals.Share
